Marcia Duncan

Marcia D. Duncan is unique in that she is blessed with many talents and finds a way to incorporate all of them into her every day life. She studied Journalism at Success Training College and worked locally and abroad as a radio announcer. She later migrated to England where she became an ITEC Certified Dual Spa Therapist and returned home and worked for the Steiner Spa at Atlantis and Kamalame Cay. It was during this time that she also co-founded a local Bahamian/Jamaican restaurant called Beverley's Kitchen, then on to her newest passion of Real Estate. After spending 15 years in the service industry she became interested in real estate about 7 seven years ago while working in Concierge and Property Management for an upscale complex on Paradise island, Bahamas. It was there she realized that she had the know how and instinct to help meet people's real estate and concierge needs. In 2013, Marcia joined HG Christie Ltd., The Bahamas' oldest and most extensive real estate company. Her position as an Office Administrator afforded the opportunity to work among some of the islands best real estate agents. She availed herself to learning the ins and outs of the real estate industry. Marcia later gained her BREA Real Estate License, accreditation for Home Staging and Florida State Certificate in Property Management. It is with this knowledge that she decided to become a full time Estate Agent. Marcia is known for transmitting the energy of love, kindness and honesty when she interacts with people and this ability along with her resourcefulness, problem solving skills and positive attitude makes her the perfect agent for persons relocating to the islands. Though often mistaken for an American because of her accent; she wants people to know that she is Jamaican born and Bahamian bred. She is the proud mother of one daughter...Briah. She loves family and is passionate about traveling. She is empowered through reading and listening to positive things and enjoys relaxing and cooking for family and friends. She is energized when it comes to helping her clients find what they are looking for!
